C61300/C61400 Bronze Plate Products
Description
C61300 Aluminum Bronze is copper, with zinc, iron and aluminum. Often used in sea water applications, this alloy offers high level of corrosion and resistance to high velocity seawater erosion. It is similar to C71500 Copper Nickel but with higher strength and resistance to fatigue.
Typical Uses
Most often used in applications that come in contact with sea water – condenser tube and piping systems, steam condensers, oil coolers, heat exchangers, desalination equipment. Tubesheets made from C613 Aluminum Bronze are often paired with copper-nickel tubes in sea water cooled condensers and heat exchangers.
