Chairman of the Executive Board of the Materials Services business area, Chairman of the Executive Board of thyssenkrupp Materials Services GmbH

Responsible for the operating units Materials Western Europe, Materials Eastern Europe and Asia Pacific, Materials North America, Materials Trading, Plastics Europe and Technical Services as well as for the central functions Strategy, Markets & Development, Communications and Legal.

Studied mechanical engineering at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences (graduate engineer).

Martin Stillger joined the thyssenkrupp Group in 2008 and has held various management and executive positions since then: After joining thyssenkrupp Xervon as CEO, he took over the Eastern European subsidiaries of Materials Services from 2012 to 2018. From 2018 he was CEO of the Technical Services and Materials Western Europe operating units. From the beginning of 2019 he was also CEO of thyssenkrupp Schulte and Materials Germany, where he headed the German materials distribution business. Before joining thyssenkrupp, Stillger worked for Barmag AG for 17 years, five of which as Sales Director and Chief Executive Officer.

Since December 6, 2019 Martin Stillger has been Chairman of the Executive Board of the Materials Services business area and CEO of thyssenkrupp Materials Services GmbH.
