ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)

ABS is an easily-machined, tough, low cost rigid thermoplastic material with high impact strength, ideal for turning, drilling, milling, sawing, die-cutting, shearing. It has good chemical and stress cracking resistance to inorganic salt solutions, alkalis, acids, and some oils. ABS has excellent abrasion resistance; electrical properties, moisture and creep resistance. ABS is easily thermoformed and yields great heat detail. Extruded ABS can be easily heat formed as well. ABS comes in a variety of surface finishes and colors. Most of our grades of ABS may be:

• Custom color matched to your specific needs
• Mono-layered or co-extruded

Applications:

• Interior applications such as appliance parts
• Tub and shower wall surrounds
• Interior automotive trim

General purpose is available in 6 thickness from 1/32"-1/4" and sheet sizes 4'x8' or cut to your specifications. We stock black and white with a haircell finish on one side or smooth on both.
